LO-CAT® II Oxidation System Sweetens Natural Gas Offshore

A LO-CAT® II Hydrogen Sulfide Oxidation Process forms an integral part of the natural gas sweetening train on Chevron's Mobile Block 864 "B" production platform in the Gulf of Mexico. The entire unit is located on the platform. To meet special space and corrosion requirements, the autocirculation vessel and other mechanical equipment were modified for this application.
