To save space, the unit was modified by (1) mounting the oxidizer air blowers on top of the autocirculation vessel – rather than beside the vessel, (2) consolidating the platforms around the settler vessel and the vacuum belt filter, and (3) replacing the standard shell and tube heat exchanger with a stab-in heater mounted on top of the autocircualtion vessel.
